Two cone dollars were sent for grading the first is the final issue which was the Department store bills could be identified on the front lower legend as they simply read, "Mickey Mouse." The second bill was the first issue Spingle-Chicko-K version issued in 1, 5 and 10 cent denominations. The higher denominations and blue are some of the most rare.

The bakery company Accornero issued a series of banknotes denominated in the "Paperdollari" currency. They were similar to real money as they were issued with specific serial numbers and printed in Milan Italy for a limited 12 month period. Produced in 1988 these rare Banknotes were distributed along with biscuit boxes "I Frollini di Nonna Papera" (The Biscuits of Grandma Duck).

These Lucky Bucks were vintage play money featuring Mickey Mouse and his friends included in the Sunday comics section of newspapers and designed to be cut out by kids. They are color lithographs on newsprint and often have comics printed on the back. Sent for grading were the second run including a character in 1937 called Old King Cole.

This novelty Mcduck Note was issued to celebrate Tokyo Disney Sea Grand Opening 2001. The back of the note is printed with a full-size water mark, and if held up to the light, you see through the front of the note. The front showcases Scrooge McDuck and the saying “Time is Money”. These were from Tokyo Disney Sea.

These were issued are real emergency currency in Italy due to the coin shortage. The frailty and limited quantity are unknown as these were never thought of by the local population to be collectible. Scrooge was the first issue of these 6 character set. The second issue in 1977 were done in July, which included the characters Grandma Duck and Goofy.

Manufactured in France, 0€ Banknotes have all the features of a modern banknote: security points, hologram, UV, watermark, etc. Since these were limited to production runs of 3,000 to 7,000 notes, expect them to be highly collectible similar to other Disney banknotes. The notes sent for grading are celebrating the 100 year anniversary of Disney and the Cartoon Classics.

There were 179 different versions of Disney dollars. In short, they were produced in Disneyland California and Walt Disney World. We shipped an assortment of A and D series including a single proof for grading. Some of the most notable are the D series shown above including a 1999 D series Minnie. A variety of 15 different types of notes were shipped.

Given to VIP’s during the opening years of the Magic Kingdom, these two releases were distributed to be used in Disney World in Orlando Florida. The distribution in 1972 was significantly smaller than the 1971 opening year release. The limited quantity makes the second run more desirable. We shopped a batch of the 1972 versions for grading.
